Dr. Jack Deere is one of the preeminent and most trustworthy theologians in the Body of Christ today, particularly in regards to helping us grow in a vibrant relationship with Holy Spirit and a healthy expression of that relationship in ministry. Jack majored in philosophy at TCU, attended Dallas Theological Seminary where he concentrated on Greek and Hebrew studies, and later became a professor of Old Testament Exegesis and Semitic Languages at DTS. Jack started Christ Chapel Bible Church in Ft. Worth and earned a Th. D. from Dallas Seminary. He left the seminary in 1988 and spent four years on the staff of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Anaheim, California. He has pastored other churches and written several books including Surprised by the Power of the Spirit and Surprised by the Voice of God. He and his wife, Leesa, live in St. Louis. Jack spends his time writing, helping local churches and speaking at conferences. His next book, Even in our Darkness: A story of beauty in a broken life, will be published by Zondervan in April 2018.
We are excited to announce that we will have a worship team that will include worship leaders from ARC churches in the Minneapolis-St. Paul region. The team will be led by Matt Schurr from Bridgewood Community Church, and will include Eric McIntyre from Redeemer Lutheran, Will Wojcik from Northgate Church, and others.
